Power Amplifier for 802.11p
May 29th, 2012, 6:05am

Hi,

I’m looking for a Power Amplifier for WLAN 802.11p applications. My requirements are:

Frequency band: 5.9GHz;
Modulation: OFDM (BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM and 64-QAM);
Output Power (power sent to antenna): 28.8dBm.

From the search I’ve done the best options for the Power Amplifier I found are:

SE5004L - http://www.skyworksinc.com/uploads/d...SE5004L_DS.pdf
RF5626 - http://www.rfmd.com/CS/Documents/RF5626DS.pdf

Which one do you find is the best?
Does anyone know another power amplifier which can meet my requirements better than these two?

Thanks a lot,

do both of them meet the standards requirements?
Whats the PAE of both?
Whats the cost of both?

We can't do your work for you, these are the questions that you need to start asking.
