HSPICE-RF for RFIC Design
Sep 15th, 2013, 6:15am

For a RFIC transceiver project we are about to start we are considering using HSPICE-RF. Synopsys seems to be working actively on improving HSPICE capabilities, but I haven't seen anybody using HSPICE in RFIC design. I would like if anybody in this forum used HSPICE-RF recently and how were their experience? Any comments would be much appreciated.

I somehow doubt that it would be free, although if you're at a University, I expect Synopsys has a university programme (as does Cadence) which offers the tools at significantly reduced cost to Universities.

But you'd be best asking Synopsys at http://www.synopsys.com about any possible free version rather than asking here.

Kind Regards,

Andrew.
