phase noise -30db/decade upto 100M
Sep 18th, 2013, 9:45pm

I have a ring oscillator running at 3G. When I do phase noise plot it shows -30db/decade upto 100Meg. In typical LC oscillators that I designed a while ago, I used to see the transistion from 30db/decade at 1Meg.
Is this normal? What can I do to prevent it going that high.
-80dbc/Hz @1Meg
-110dbc/Hz @10MEg
-140 @ 100Meg
-160 @1G
