effects of multiplier and Wf to minimum noise factor
Jan 29th, 2014, 4:04am

I have just read that minimum noise factor Fmin is invariant to number of gate fingers  Nf, and number of transistors m connected in parallel, but depends on Wf.

I feel a bit confused. Wf and multiplier m play the same function, isn't it?
However, relating to noise factor, they are not the same.
Could anyone explain why?
Thanks.
