multiple-edge-triggered latch
Jul 07th, 2014, 7:20pm

Hi all,

I need to design a latch which is set on either positive edge A or positive edge B, and is reset on positive edge C. I have come up with two possible methods. For the first I need to generate a pulse (thereby creating an edge), and the second method just looks a little ugly.

I wonder, is there are general method for designing multiple-edge-triggered latches? Speed is an issue, so the design needs to be fast. Any input is welcome.

thanks,
Aaron
