shooting newton in HspiceRF and PSS in SpectreRF.
May 09th, 2016, 1:52am

Hi,

In SpectreRF, if we use PSS, we can get both the results in time domain and frequency domain (spectrum).
Now I am trying to do the shooting newton simulation in Hspice, and I want to look at the time domain signal in one period of the fundamental frequency. However I can only plot the spectrum, not time domain information at all. I wonder if Hspice has the similar function as PSS in SpectreRF? Currently I have to run a long time transient simulation to check the steady state current.
   Thank you in advance.
   Jacki.

I find the option in Hspice, it is in Results -> Analyzer.

Time Domain Data are strored in "input.sn0".
.probe sn i(c18) i(c7)

Frequency Domain Data are strored in "input.snf0".
.probe snfd i(18) i(c7)
.probe snfd i(18)[0] i(c7)[0]
