library files are screwed up
Apr 26th, 2018, 2:53pm

Looking through the tutorials I find "Design of a Wideband Fractional-N Frequency Synthesizer" tutorial which asks for downloading and installing a library into Sue2 which I did perfectly.
Then I opened the wb_pfddac2.sue example and tried to compile/run this example but, once again, no it didn't work. It couldn't find a test.par file. So I opened it up in the editor I found that all the items such as global_params:, probes:, etc were all empty:   so I uncommented out the sample lines above the unfilled items to fill in the associated items and now it tries to compile but now gives the following error:

parameter 'en_swap' in instance 'xi12' is defined using an unknown variable in the expression. 'en_swap'.

So I tried to open the xi12 module on the diagram to find out more about what I have to  do to fix the problem, but when I try to use the edit button to see what is in the module the button doesn't work, I can open the other modules  in the editor: the button doesn't work for this one. I would like to get this tutorial up and running but I  am having a lot of problems with the tutorial examples as you can see. Help.
