pss and pnoise simulation
Feb 12th, 2004, 8:07am

I'm praying for help! ???

I'm trying to run a pss and pnoise simulation of the track and hold example from the "Simulating SC Filters w/ SpecterRF" paper, but the simulator always exits with the error message:
PSS analysis must be executed befor pnoise
although the pss simulation works alone.
can anybody help me, please?

Rich ???

Have you by any chance set the analysis order on the
Setup->Environment form?

If you don't set this, it runs them in a sensible order.
Unfortunately if you set this, and you miss out one of the
analyses that you're running, it runs those first (I think),
rather than trying to do them in the default order relative
to the ones you've specified.

There's a PCR for this, and I think it's been fixed now (possibly in IC5033, although I've not checked).

Still, the workaround is to enter all the analyses, or none of them...

Regards,

Andrew.

Just an insanity check. Do you have both pss and pnsoise analysis enabled? If you have that it should work.
