I want to simulate HSPICE netlist with Spectre.

1) Is it possible to simulate a HSPICE netlist with
Spectre (or SpecterXXX) without changing anything in the HSPICE netlist?

2) I have tried to use (unsuccessfull by far)
spectrespp
spp -convert -iofile inp.sp out.scs

I got follwoing error message;

(PS. People familiar with Eldo, I am looking for an option
in Spectre like in eldo; >eldo -compat -i inp.sp)
