Getting X values intercepted at some Y value
Aug 16th, 2004, 8:10pm

Dear all,
I have a problem extracting datas in  the Waveform Window. I have got a waveform datas from 0 to 1uS, and I need all X values whose corresponding Y intercept at some value, like "0". I use the "Markers/Horizontal Markers" in the menu, set the "Marker locations" as "0", and then push the "Display Intercept Data" button above. The X values would be displayed in the pop-up Result Display Window. However, only the preceding datas would be displayed, like 0 to 20nS. But I need all X datas from 0 to 1us. Would you please tell me how I should do to get all datas I want?

Best Regards,

If I've understood you properly, you should be able to use the cross() function with 0 as the edge number. You'd want to write some SKILL (or an OCEAN script) to format the data how you want, but cross() will give you all the X values where a particular transition occurs.

Andrew.
