Cadence inductor layout and extract view

Hi,

I am using cadence to make the RF design layut and I want to layout the inductor.
I know that the inductor is drawn with square or spiral layer of metal, but when I make the design rule check, there is an error message like label/pin is on net with different name and I failed to generate the extracted view. Could anyone give me a tutorial for this subject.

Hello,

I remember that I too had some problem doing DRC check of inductor in cadence with Calibre DRC deck. There we removed dummy layer and got the drc working.

On the other hand with Diva drc deck i never had this kind of problem, and in all probability i guess u r using the same(Diva deck). So, if you could post a detailed error message then i might be able to help.
