SpectreRF&SPICE BJT mlodels!!
Sep 30th, 2005, 1:34am

Hi all
I have a try to obtain the same transient simulation results when I simulate a simple BJT amplifier circuit with SpectreRF. I think that SpectreRF doesn’t accepte SPICE model.
It has a way that I say to accept directly a SPICE model.

I think BJT SpectreRF model is different to SPICE models!!

Nope. That's not it. Spectre can quite happily read SPICE models (and in the latest versions it can do this even more directly with the new front end in spectre). SpectreRF doesn't require different models to Spectre - it's the same simulator.

So what really is your problem?

Regards,

Andrew.

so, i did including the SPICE device model as habituel area in netlist circuit :
include "../../res.scs" section=restm
include "../../cap.scs" section=captm
include "../home/fchirouf/SPICE_BJT_models/2N2222.scs"
So, spectreRF can read with out any problem the SPICE model BJT in fil 2N2222.scs
