Jan 18th, 2006, 7:07pm

Hello,
I want to extract parasitic element to the DSPF with CalibreXRC.But the DSPF file include the same instance name, like:
.
.
cc_7759 VDD:51501 GND:31115 0.383093f
cc_7760 VDD:51501 GND:31117 0.68122f
.
.
.
cc_147384 GND:30910 X349/M1212:s 9.95289e-19
cc_147385 272:426 X349/M1212:s 0.00296326f
*
cc_7759 X348/1446 X348/1445 0.00996306f
cc_7760 X348/1447 X348/1446 0.0114364f

*
*
Instance Section
*

rR338 R338:pos R338:neg RNWSTI 607.181
rR339 R339:pos R339:neg RPPOSAB 6411.31

why there is two instance names of cc_7759 and cc_7760 for different cap?
Thanks!

Hi,

I don't have the Calibre rules manual at hand right now, but I would expect you to find a command defining
a) filtering properties (i.e. the minimum capacitor size to appear in the netlist, the ones below being filtered out)
b) a rule for merging parallel capacitors.
Unless you specify the second, all extracted capacitors will appear individually in the netlist.
