input/output impedence in Hspice
Feb 08th, 2006, 3:38am

Hi all,

to calculate the input impedence of a RF circuit, in Hspice, is the only one way to make a .NET analysis??  I mean, whit just an .AC analysis I think it's impossible, because Hspice do not have the function to calculate the real part and imaginary part of an expression...........I suppose!

thanks,

davide

You can print the imaginary part of a voltage or current in an ac analysis:
.print ac vi(n1)

With a little creativity, you might be able to re-write your expression from imag(f(v(n1), v(n2), ...) into g(vi(n1), vi(n2), ...)
