For the same vco, I used two methods to simulate the gain(frequency sensitivity), one is transient, one is pss. simulation result show that there is some difference between these two method. When I changed the modle from smic to tsmc, the transient simulation results show some difference for two modles, but the pss simulation results keep the same for two models. I'm wondering that the pss analysis for such parameter as vco gain is reliable or not?
