Even I ended up with the same result as you :P
Guess, a typo in the book!
Anyway, I'd suggest all of us students can post our book-related questions in a separate topic
so that it doesn't get buried under other those real-world design issues which is the primary reason why the forum stands for!
So, terry..take the initiative 8-)

Hi Gau,
Yeah, maybe it’s a typo, or maybe not, who knows. Maybe we should directly send an e-mail to Prof. Razavi to ask him about this issue.
Here is his e-mail address: razavi@ee.ucla.edu.
Actually I have not been a student now, I’m a 100% analog IC design engineer working for an IC design house at Shenzhen, but I like studying and reading classic IC books after work, which include Razavi, Gray & Meyer, Allen, and Tsividis, and I also like communicating with all of you here about analog IC design issues. ;)
Your suggestion is really a good idea, so if I have something regarding these books, I will post them in a separate topic.
Regards,
Terry
