Two-layer coverage check in Assura
Jan 05th, 2007, 1:51am

I have problem with coverage check in Assura. I want to check density of vias on the metal layer. The mtal layer is very complex. It's inductor. That's why when I write the following:

layer1 = drc(VIA METAL coverage < 0.1 )

Assura use option "perTrapezoid" by default and give incorrect results. When I use "perWindow" option, I have to spcify "windowSize" and "stepSize" options. But I can't do that because the size of inductor may vary in large range.

Can anybody give me advise how perform density check for any kind of polygons in Assura?
Thanks in advance.
