Help for unit element in ladder DAC..
Mar 07th, 2007, 10:47pm

Hello all,
             I am designing a 10 bit resistive ladder DAC with 2 resistive strings(LSB and MSB). To have a good matching between the two ladders I have the lsb resistor as unit element and constructed msb ladder in terms of unit lsb i.e 1 lsb resistor = 234Ω, 1 msb =32x234 = 7.5KΩ.My question is:
1. How to want to find a relation so that σR/Runit < 0.1Runit
2. Any documents or online material for this type of random variable analysis..
Thanks
//Marko
