using waveform calculator with xf analysis
Mar 09th, 2007, 1:03am

Hi,

I am running an XF analysis to find the transfer functions from various input sources to a
single output, and I am able to do everything well.

However, I don't know how I can predefine certain outputs for plotting. For other analyses
(AC, DC, Tran), I can create predefined outputs, e.g. VDC("/vx"). How does it work with
XF analysis?

Regards
Vivek

you can use
getData("/vx" ?result "xf")

this syntax can also be used for results from all analysis. VT, VDC etc are older ways to access the results.
A good way I use is to use the GUI (ADE) and the "Add to Outputs" option on the Results->MainForm to get the results expressions.

Thanks so much. It works well. I will be sure to use this method more often.
