Hi,
The Q in an antenna is related to the BW of it(think in an antenna from a circuit point of view like an unmatched load,  like an RLC). Some receivers use circuits to sharp or broad the bandwidth of the antenna as required thus modificating the Q of the antenna, here it comes 'Q spoiling'.
