I am a problem with the linux version of cadence.
After I am done viewing or editing the properties of a component in Virtuoso schematic editor, I will close the properties dialog. However, cadence will hang for about 20 seconds before becoming reponsive again.

The same problem does not happen when I launch the solaris version of cadence.

My cadence version is 5.10.41_USR3.27.30.

I am running cadence remotely via Exceed from my desktop PC (running windows XP). It shouldn't be problem of Exceed since the same problem happens when I use FreeXer to access the remote server.

Any fix for this issue? This gets very annoying when I need do a lot of changes to the schematic.
