RF controlled acruators
Jul 19th, 2007, 3:50pm

Hello
I am a student of IIT , India. I want to know whether it is possible to be able to steer my remote controlled 4 wheeled robot (without using a different motor for steering), using some kind of solenoid - metallic link mechanism? Basically i want to drive my robot by one and only one DC motor, which will be used to drive the vehicle but not steer it. Now i want remote controlled steering system which does not involve a DC motor , but some_other_rf_controlled mechanism that will help me steer my vehicle?? Is this possible? If yes, how can i do this? The uniqueness in this problem is that i have to use only one motor and another rf controlled actuator (which is not a motor) to drive on a 2-Dimensional path.....
