IP3 using pss/qpss (shooting and flexible balance)
Jul 27th, 2007, 3:58pm

Hi,
I used PSS shooting to simulate IP3(mixer) at given input level, IM3=-70dB
I also use PSS flexible balance to simulate IP3 at the same given input level, with oversample factor =4, I got IM3=-80dB.
I tried to use QPSS flexible balance to verity the IP3, I found out there is no oversample factor. I got the same IM3=-70dB

What is the best way to get the accurate IP3? what is the right number for oversample factor?
Thanks

Hi.

Try to plot both Pout and Pim3.
Check wheter Pim3 curve is gradient of 3dB/dB.
