hierarchical net access
Dec 18th, 2007, 1:34am

Is there any way to access voltage of a net, which is say down the hierarchy from the top level in Cadence Schematic?? Two nets in the same hierarchy can be shorted (and thus accessing the voltage of the target net) by simply assigning same name to them. But I am unable to do it when the target net and the net at which I want to
access the voltage of the target net are at differetn hierarchy.

This is possible in verilog by using the dot (.) operator. But I am unable to do it in Cadence Virtuoso  :-/

PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!

Probably too late a reply, but for completeness, take a look at sourcelink solution 11017972 http://sourcelink.cadence.com/docs/db/kdb/2004/July/11017972.html
