Question about simulator of cadence

1.What's the functions of simulators( cdsSpice, HspiceD, HspiceS, spectre, spetreS, cdsSpiceVerilog, HspiceSverilog,
SpectreVerilog and spectreSVerilog) in Analog environment of cadence and difference among them?

Hi Xu Tailong,

hspiceS is oder than hspiceD. HspiceS is an interface only that starts the standalone HSPICE tool. So it cannot simulate without a standalone HSPICE tool installed. However, the hspiceD is HSPICE tool which is integrated into the cadence software package.

Look forward to the comments about other tools.

There is actually a very detailed answer about whats
the difference between the socket 'S' and direct simulators
