Should I learn Skill?
Jan 30th, 2008, 2:45pm

I am a circuit designer who likes to have a lot of control over my simulation environment and I like to automate simulation measurement results.  In short I like to understand my sim tool well and be able to tweak it some.  I am always looking for the most efficient way to do things.

I have spent some time writing OCEAN scripts but I find the environment difficult as there is not a good error checker and my scripts occasionally hang.

How useful would it be for someone like me to dig into learning SKILL programming?

Thanks,
Makelo
