stability check for Charge pump
Jul 24th, 2008, 10:11am

Hi, Guys

I try to verify stability of regulated charge pump.
I don't know how to check stability of it.
Do you know how to simulate stability of regulated charge pump circuit?

Best regards,

Won

Use the pstb analysis of SpectreRF. Search this forum for "pstb" for further information.

assuming this is a switch cap CP regulator,
, another basic way is to run a transient.
Low accuracy probably OK for speed.

Watch the settling response, which would imply Phase Margin.  (ie, under/over damped control theory)
