I have an error in the simulation in ads 2004 and i wonder if anyone know how the correct it.The simulator can't start because it can't identify a the desing kit 's components.

The exact ,message is

Error detected by HPEESOFSIM during netlist parsing.
`MP1' is an instance of an undefined model `pmos'.

Status / Summary

HPEESOFSIM (*) 2004A.501 Oct 12 2004 (built: 10/12/04 22:26:01)
Copyright Agilent Technologies, 1989-2004.
--------------------
Simulation terminated due to error.
--------------------

I'm quite sure the desing kit is installed correctly..Any suggestions.....?

Show me a status report of installed design kit.
Even if you can see components in pallete and place them in schematic, it is very possible that design kit is not installed correctly.

Possibilties are:
(1) Design Kit is not installed correctly.
Site Level or User Level ?
(2) Installed Design Kit is not valid for ADS2004A(this is faily old).
(3) Content of Design Kit is broken or incomplete due to some reason.

User level....The kit is specified in the documentation as ads 2004 or higher so it should be ok....

I think you might not have placed the process model information block in your test bench. From the component scroll down button, select your process kit and there should be a process info block. Place it on to your test bench.
