[q] RFIC package modeler
Feb 13th, 2009, 7:15am

Dear All,

I am trying to run RFIC package modeler, but 32520 is EOLed, so I couldn't run.

Do we have the same thing in 38520? Is the command the same (pkg) ?

Thank You

pkg has been end-of-lifed for some time. It's still there in IC5141, but has had no enhancements for many years, and is only supported under legacy licenses.

It has gone in IC61.

Regards,

Andrew.

Thank you for the answer.

It seems that I need to run allegro package modeler instead.

Do you know what's the command to run this?

Or do we run this in some simulation environment like icfb?

Thank You.

Yes, that's right - the Allegro package tools are what you'd use instead. There is also the "RF SIP" flow which combines the Allegro package tools with the IC environment. I'm afraid I'm not that familiar with the details, so it's best for you to contact your local Cadence office for more details.

Best Regards,

Andrew.
