multithreading enabled for spectre in AMS?
Feb 20th, 2009, 1:31pm

Is it possible to enable the multithreading option for spectre while running through AMS (ncsim)?

I've tried including the -mt option under 'additional parameters' in simulator options with no success.  The documentation doesn't mention enabling multithreading, so i'd just like a confirmation that it isn't supported in AMS.  I presume it's because of the synching between the analog and digital solvers.

thanks!

This is now supported in IUS82 (IUS8.2s-003). It's covered in a sourcelink.cadence.com solution, number 11532410.

Regards,

Andrew.
