which is better for clk input of adc on pcb board?

as in the attached fig.
the top one is input sin wave,
while the bottom one is input pulse wave.
which one is better?

this is on the pcb board.

generally you want a square wave (50% duty cycle)  clocking the ADC

the Vmax and Vmin of the square wave should (generally!) be between the Vpower and Vground of the ADC.

Generally I agree with Jerry ... but sometimes I got better results with sinusoidal clock signals due to interference on the PCB (for prototype circuits).
