I suspect it is because your relay is not ideal. Any on resistance will cause the nulls to fill in. You also have the transition between the on and off resistances modifying the sinc2() shape.

Hi Ken,

I approximated the sampler using an idealized sampler and things work out as predicted quite well. It removed the sinc2(x) of the sample and hold and shows the sinc(x) of the integrate and dump circuit.
