About switched capacitor circuits in flash ADC

hi,,
    whether the usage of switched capacitor circuits in flash ADC's results sampling  rate to be decreased?? or it increases its performance in related with sampling rate?

hi,
  could you please explain clearly? i mean where you want to use switch cap..generally preamp before comparator is switch cap based  (mainly for offset cancellation)..so this will give inherent sample and hold rather than putting s/h in front of the ADC. but now days people are using again s/h hold in front of the ADC for several improvements.

There are a number of good textbooks out there on the subject. May I suggest getting a few books and doing some research?
