RFIC packaging
Oct 28th, 2009, 8:22pm

Hi,

I want to learn a little bit about RFIC packaging, or maybe just high frequency analog IC packaging issues. Does anybody know any good references?

thanks,
Aaron

Vendors make available "package models" and RLC and magnetic coupling model sets for most packages -

You also need approximations for the bond wire inductances and down bond models.

Suggest - get a copy of the package model for the QFN package. It's widely used and has vendor models out there. Take a look at whats in the model as a start point.
