Inherited supply connections do not work in AMS?

Hi all,

After running a long simulation where a digital sub-block using inheritance supply connectors for the internal global supply nets VPOS! and VNEG! I realized the supply voltages did not got actually connected to that block.
I had to tweak my bench and by hardwiring both VPOS! and VNEG! to the actual supply lines pins coming into the block one hierarchy level up.

Is this a known bug or did I do something wrong?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Reply #1 - Jun 6^th, 2010, 8:44pm Hi Tosei, I did use inheritance connection when I simulated using ams simulator. It worked fine. Did you set up the connection rule correctly? What's connection rule do you use? Please select an inherited connection rule. Best Regards, Yawei
