How to generated LC ladder filter from transfer function?
Aug 22nd, 2010, 6:51pm

I synthesis a filter and the transfer function of the filter is got, I need to change the transfer function (with no zeros) to the LC ladder filter, I tried to use filter solutions by using its cutom filter menu, but after I input the coefficient of the transfer fuction, filter solutions display "No circuit can be generated".

My question is, given the arbitrary transfer function, how can I get the LC ladder form of the filter?

hi,
it depends on the transfer function, based on the properties of the TF you can say weather it is realizable or not. Please go through some basic network synthesis book. Other wise please publish the transfer function.

Thanks,
Rajasekhar.

the denominator of the transfer function is :
s^6+1.574827s^5+2.725802s^4+2.339088s^3+1.732449s^2+0.694943s+0.165114
the numberator of the transfer function is 1
Thank you very much.
