Interesting problem: Need block level model for microprocessor
Mar 03rd, 2011, 7:24am

Hello,
Does anyone have a block level (for ex, Verilog-A) model of a microprocessor? Or perhaps a data or a current vs. voltage plot of microprocessor performance from which a very simple model can be generated? The microprocessor can be Intel, ARM, anything.
Thanks.

What are you looking for here? Can you explain the information you need better?

uP models are generally in Verilog or some other behavioral description, which does not have a detailed analog definition.

Hi loose electon,
Basically, I am just looking for a very simple behaviorial model for a uP.  For example, how much current it draws for a given voltage.  I only need to see a uP as a black box.
Thanks for your help.
