Are there some references, such as papers, textbooks, tutorials, etc, that discuss voltage regulators and transistor level designs? Thanks.

Stuff that is "new" in voltage regulators, is all fairly old. Dig thru the IEEE JSSC for stuff, but some of its gong to be 20-30 years back. Books? Not sure whats out there.

Hi RobG and looseelectron - thanks very much for the replies. I guess I'm just looking for more of an authoritative and "tutorial" type reference. The JSSC stuff is sometimes just papers describing what they did, but not actually how it works and perhaps how they designed it.

Anyway, these two I thought were quite good:
