I think I saw a presentation at DAC a few years ago, in which Cadence was promoting an optimization-based tool that would help with migration.

A new design kit for the same technology?  Or a design kit for a new technology (smaller or different foundry)?

a new design kit of a smaller (different) technology
but, i want to reuse my schematics
