Finding out flicker noise coefficient
Mar 22nd, 2012, 8:45pm

How do we find out the flicker noise coefficient for NMOS and PMOS transistors for a given PDK (from the device models or by simulation)?

It is buried in the models, however is often not specified properly

There are ways to plot the noise in most EDA tools.
(Do a AC plot from DC to 5MHZ and configure
the simulator to show the noise.)
