PSTAB analysis spectre
Jul 10th, 2012, 7:20am

Hello,

I want to set up a pstab analysis in spectre rf for a downconversion mixer. I have a common mode feedback and I want to see phase margin. Have I to apply a extra source with a pac magnitude or is it enough to insert the iprobe instance in the feedback loop ? Thanks for response.

It is sufficient to insert the iprobe instance, you do not need an extra pac source. The pstb analysis computes the loop gain of the zero sideband, so you should insert the iprobe at a place in the loop where you have an unmodulated (baseband or dc) signal.
