Open Access hast different data models for each database version, so even if Cadence Virtuoso 6.1.X uses OA 2.2 every subversion 6.1.0 to 6.15 supports different data models of OA 2.2. This might cause incompatibility between Virtuoso and Assura, especially for extraction RCX or QRC. I think you will not get a reliable answer in this forum, the best would be either to try it directly or as Cadence.
MMSIM should not be an issue at all because simulators work with netlist as input and not on the database directly, whereas the netlister is included in the IC stream itself.
