When does SpectreRF consider travelling wave reflection due to input mismatch
Jan 17th, 2015, 10:31am

Hi,

Suppose I am simulating an LNA whose input impedance is not perfectly matched. Therefore, input RF which is a travelling wave will be reflected. I am curious to know under what condition SpectreRF accounts for this reflection or scattering phenomenon?

Does analogLib port component forces SpectreRF to consider this affect? What is the speciality of port component apart from that it is a Thevenin of 2Vin and Rs?
