gnu-octave to compute Sphi?
Mar 31st, 2004, 6:57pm

HI,
Has anyone tried  using gnu-octave for computing Sphi of PLL output?
Octave does not have `psd` function, but there is `pwelch` function available
which computes the Sphi by Welch's method.

I want to know would it differ from `psd` of Matlab.

Thank you

You can use pwelch() function of octave instead of psd() of matlab. pwelch() scales the input vector by Fs.

The link given above does not seem to work anymore. The information can now be found under http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-17M11.html?solution=1-17M11.
