view node voltages in extracted cell view
Jun 25th, 2004, 3:26pm

I am trying to view the internal node voltages within an extracted cellview. If I don't extract the parasitic resistance, I can click any wire in the extracted view and use calculator to view its voltage. I can also view the voltage of any wire or the current of any device using direct plot.

However, if I extract both parasitic resistance and capacitance, I have no way to view its internal voltage or current. No expression will come up in the calculator when I click at a wire.

Any idea how to get around this problem? I know one solution is to place pins on the nodes that you want to probe and lead them out via the symbol. I don't think it's a good solution since I want to view many many internal nodes.

Thanks for any help.
