Phase Noise in LC Oscillators
Dec 14th, 2004, 1:34pm

Hello All,

I am currently using spectreRF to simulate the phase noise in a number of differential cross-coupled LC oscillators.

Question : Is there away to attribute the phase noise to individual circuit components?

Thanks

The noise summary tool will do it at low offset frequencies, because the noise is predominately in the phase. The noise summary tool shows the contributions to the output noise from each device, or each noise source within a device.
