How to reduce noice figure? (Read 590 times)

richloo New Member Offline Posts: 9	How to reduce noice figure? Jan 26^th, 2005, 5:41am Hi guys, i am having too much NF(32dB) in my gm-C filter design. Any suggestion to reduce the NF? any trade-off? thanks in advance!

So what you get is somewhat expected. If you insist on using Gm-C architecture, all I can suggest is to increase gm and C, if thermal noise is dominant, or mos areas if 1/f one is dominant.

However, if i use conventional method to find noise rms,SNR, i get my NF around 4dB. I m not quite believing it., any comment? thanks in advance.
