FFT analysis using HSpice
Feb 18th, 2005, 1:12am

Hi everyone,

I am a beginner in analog design. I want to simulate first order delta sigma modulator for dynamic range analysis i.e. SFDR.

What I did was , I run the FFT analysis in parallel with the transient analysis. Then at the simulation output plot, for SFDR measurement, I simply measure the difference between peak amplitude of fundamental frequency to the peak of first harmonics. Is this the correct way of doing it?

Many thanks

What about INL/DNL analysis? Can I measure INL DNL using HSpice (Monte Carlo analysis)? Anyone knows good website/ tutorial /application notes on this?
