*Error* eval: undefined function - schHiViewToView
Apr 17th, 2007, 9:09am

Hi all,

I could run the  following SKILL command through the OCEAN interface.

schViewToView( "srcLib" "srcDesign" "myLib" "myDesign" "symbol" "functional" "schSymbolToPinList" "schPinListToVerilog"

The error message was:
*Error* eval: undefined function - schHiViewToView

What could be the reasons?
However, this command worked when I typed this in the CIW (Command Interpreter Window). Is OCEAN the right interface I'm using?

Design is fun, verification is a requirement.

Doing this from the ocean executable does not make sense, since it does not have the code to do schematic and symbol editing and modification (i.e. the "sch" functions).

The ocean executable is for doing simulations, and post-processing the results.

Andrew.
