Entering paramter through symbol interface
Dec 12th, 2007, 9:57am

Hi all,

In cadence virtuoso env it is possible to enter paramters through the symbol interface i.e. I instantiate
symbol of a module in a schematic and change its parameter by right clicking on the signal. A form opens
and then I change the parameters. This can be done if the module is a spectre or VerilogA view. But
not if it has a verilog view. I creates a mixed signal module by connecting a VerilogA module with a verilog module.
But the symbol of this combined block when instantiated in a schematic does not give any access to the parameters
used even in the verilogA module!!!!

Is there any work around?? Otherwise one has to go into the code and change the paramters manually!!
